Tabikase – the name stemming from a playful portmanteau of Tabisuru Omakase meaning “Traveling Omakase” and adhering to the nomadic omakase style described as “Trust Us.”

Tabikase NY was founded at first during the summer of 2020 with the aim of providing guests with premium and rigorously authentic Japanese cuisine through a white-glove private chef service. We also began hosting a Sushi Popup series at neighborhood-favored restaurants throughout the northeastern seaboard and a conceptional Popup in NYC to share an interactive dining experience.

In 2022, Tabikase Japan was launched with a magnificent mission; to inherit authentic Japanese culinary scene and culture while welcoming the rapidly increasing inbound throughout Japan.

  • Japan Fes

    Honored to join the Gohan Fes in July 2022 as one of the 6 selected vendors to showcase the premium rice harvested and imported from Japan.

    We selected the rice from Akita prefecture and milled in NYC for this event. Rice is the most important key of creating Sushi and we continuously use Japanese Premium rice to offer you the best quality of taste.

    MakiRevo is shorten for Temaki (HandRoll) Revolution and their signature HandRoll is wrapped in a pastel colored soy paper.
